Spin Awareness and Recovery Training

The BGGC offers dedicated short courses covering the aspects of Spin Awareness & Recovery required by the BGA and Sailplane Pilots Licence, as well as refresher training for qualified pilots. The course comprises: 2 x 4000ft Aerotows, ground briefing and Daily membership. Any additional flights needed would be charged at club rates

Your instructor will review your theoretical and practical knowledge of Stalling & Spinning and brief you on the flight (including a type brief if you are unfamiliar with the aircraft). From  high tow you will have chance to to see a demonstration of the correct technique and practice recovery from a variety of different spin entry situations.

BGA Instructor

Your coach for the day will be an experienced instructor who will take you through all the aspects of Spinning and Spin avoidance & recovery needed for your Sailplane Pilots Licence.

For Non-BGGC (or Non-Reciprocal Club) Members under training, 10% discount if two or more members from same club booked on same day.
