Sunday 3rd November 2019

Initially bright enough to encourage people to rig the DG and complete the final parts of an extended ARC completed.  Many thanks to Tim, Kevin and others for the bulk of the work.  Special thanks to Tim, Andy Davis and Steve Parker for repair actions that were required, some planned and others identified during the inspections.  Disappointing that more were not involved.  Never mind.

By 1000 it was drizzling properly and you couldn’t see the other side of the airfield.  Still people waited it out and by 1400 we were flying.  Dave Ascroft instructed, newish BI Pete flew the trial lessons whilst older timer Graham flew the tug.  Lucian was taken under Xtophe’s wing to learn the  mysteries of winch driving, I didn’t hear any complaints.

Greg.
