Saturday 11th July

With a very good forecast there was a full grid. And some were very eager to go with the first aerotow at 9.30am before we could even tow the DG505 to the launch point. A 777km, 2 600, various 500 and a Silver badge flights were flown, check the ladder for details.

Locally the weather varied during the day with a period of over-development around lunchtime. Still a lot of P2 were flown. The 2020 cohort of cadets had their second flights. Out-of-currency and returning pilots were checked.

Thanks to Kev and Steve in the tug. Thanks to Brian, Seb, Gavin and Terry (from Bicester) in the winch for staying until 7pm for cable break practice.
