Both days saw the local ridges work (NW on Sat, W to SW on Sunday), albeit with quite a lot of cloud around. The ASK 21 returned to service on Saturday, so we had two 2-seaters active on ridge instruction and check flights. Some of the braver members explored the ridges further afield, but the local ridges were the most reliable both days with a bit of local weakish wave around on Sunday. BW’s Super Cub provided A/T for those who wanted them, it did’nt rain, was’nt too cold and the cafe was busy – what more can you want for January!
