Sunday 11th August 2019 – Another tough day as a duty instructor.

Firstly congratulations to former member Jake Brattle and regular visitor Finn Sleigh for their 1 -2 in the Junior World Championship.  Both are flying in the Nationals starting at NYM next weekend. Todays flying never looked like it would happen given the brisk Sw’ly and the regular showers so had to cancel the Trial Lessons.  The right decision as it never really cleared up. Thu / Fri / Sat

Thursday Evening Work progressed on the Big Grob trailer. Less metal being cut away more metal being added. Meanwhile in the hangar the canopies of the DG were polished and the capping tape on the mylar of the port wing was scraped away. Various Pizza & cheesecake were consumed at the end.
