Wed 24th Oct – First “Wed Club Session”

A lovely sunny day for the first meeting of the “Wednesday Club”…..  While the flying crew worked hard to fly a group of students a select group led by Ray and Richard S. did maintenance around the club. Part of the garden wall was re-built, Steve P. welded a new stop on the hanger doors & Ray started the preparation work on the new battery charging area, which will partition off the charging area within the workshop.

We plan an informal gathering each Wednesday through the winter, starting around 9:30, to carry out maintenance and improvement works on the club premises. We had half a dozen volunteers for the first session – please come along on any Wed. if you can assist. A list of jobs will be kept in the workshop.

Meanwhile the Eurofox did some test flying of the new engine – next step is to test it with a glider on the back!
