Flying 11/3/18

looking at several forecasts before I left to go to the field left me with the expectation of no flying today but I was surprised to find the weather was bright with maybe 3/8 cloud cover and a fresh SE wind. Cloud base was mainly around 2700′ amsl with some light wispy stuff around 2500′ so 2000′ QFE A/Ts were possible.

The conditions slowly deteriorated from 1200hrs to 1500hrs but  we managed 8 launches before we had to put the gliders away due to low cloud base.

ps. I don’t recall the committee announcing the installation of the big lake covering the track near the west end of the field. Hopefully it will be gone in a day or two.
