Wednesday 12th July 2017

A grim sky greeted what was probably the largest grid of the year.  However by 1100 things started to change.  Tasks into Wales, East Anglia and various other places were set and achieved under what became a booming sky.  Chris instructed all day working on Bronze checks and much else.  Gerellyn drove the tug and Tommy the winch.  Jon Timpany flew a number of trial lessons. A rather dismal start but lots of people drawn up by the optimistic forecast on Tues night. As it turned out it was (eventually) a lovely day with the launching, launchpoint and instructing teams all busy.
